At CrossMira, every piece of jewelry is carefully inspected and packaged before leaving our facility. We are committed to delivering products that match your order and arrive in good condition.
This Refund and Returns Policy explains the conditions under which returns, replacements, exchanges, and refunds may be accepted. By placing an order with CrossMira, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under the laws applicable to your purchase.
1. Inspection Period and the 48-Hour Rule
Please inspect your order immediately after delivery.
Visible damage, missing items, incorrect products, incorrect colors or styles, and damage to the external packaging must be reported to CrossMira within 48 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time.
To report an issue, email [email protected] and include:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of the product.
- Photographs of the original packaging and shipping label.
- Any other information reasonably requested by CrossMira.
Please retain the product, all packaging materials, labels, accessories, and shipping documents until the claim has been resolved. Do not discard, repair, alter, or return the product unless instructed by CrossMira.
Claims submitted after the 48-hour inspection period may require additional evidence and will be reviewed according to the nature of the issue, the condition of the product, delivery records, photographs, and other available documentation.
Damage caused by normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage, unauthorized repair, failure to follow the Jewelry Care Guide, or damage occurring after delivery is not considered a manufacturing or shipping defect.
2. Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Items
If CrossMira confirms that an item was delivered damaged, defective, or materially different from the item ordered, we may offer an appropriate remedy, including a replacement, repair, store credit, partial refund, or refund.
The available remedy will depend on the nature of the issue, product availability, applicable law, and the evidence provided.
CrossMira may require the item to be returned before issuing a replacement or refund. A refund without the return of the product will be provided only when CrossMira determines that a return is unnecessary or where required by applicable law.
If a return is required for a verified CrossMira error or confirmed defect, CrossMira will provide return instructions and determine the appropriate return shipping arrangement.
3. Change-of-Mind Returns
If you change your mind or are not completely satisfied with an eligible item, you may request a return within 30 days of the carrier’s recorded delivery date.
A return request submitted within 30 days does not automatically guarantee approval. The item must satisfy all return eligibility requirements and must be received and inspected by CrossMira before any refund is approved.
Change-of-mind returns include, but are not limited to:
- No longer wanting the item.
- Ordering the wrong size, color, style, or quantity.
- Deciding that the item does not suit your personal preference.
- Purchasing the item by mistake.
- Finding a similar item elsewhere.
- Providing an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind and other non-defective returns.
4. Return Condition Requirements
Returned products must be in a condition suitable for inspection and resale.
Items must be:
- Unworn.
- Unused.
- Unwashed.
- Unaltered.
- Undamaged.
- Free from odors, stains, residue, and contamination.
- Returned with all original tags, accessories, protective materials, and packaging.
Items showing signs of wear or use are not eligible for a full refund. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Scratches, dents, discoloration, or deformation.
- Perfume, smoke, cosmetic, chemical, or body odors.
- Makeup, skin oil, lotion, soap, or other residue.
- Missing tags, accessories, protective films, or packaging.
- Damage caused by pulling, bending, impact, water, chemicals, improper cleaning, or improper storage.
- Unauthorized repair, resizing, alteration, or modification.
- Any condition that prevents the product from being resold as new.
CrossMira reserves the right to reject the return or reduce the refund where a returned product does not meet these requirements, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. How to Initiate a Return
Do not return an item without first contacting CrossMira.
- Email [email protected].
- Include your order number and the reason for the return.
- Provide photographs or other supporting information if requested.
- Wait for written Return Authorization and return instructions.
- Send the approved return using a trackable shipping method.
Return instructions may include a return address that is different from the address shown on the original parcel. Do not return a product to the sender address unless CrossMira specifically instructs you to do so.
After Return Authorization is issued, the return parcel should be handed to the carrier within seven calendar days unless a different period is stated in the return instructions.
Return Authorization only permits the item to be sent for inspection. It does not guarantee that the return or refund will be approved.
6. Unauthorized Returns
Returns sent without prior written authorization from CrossMira may be refused, returned to the sender, or considered ineligible for a refund.
CrossMira is not responsible for unauthorized returns, returns sent to an incorrect address, or any loss, customs charges, carrier charges, handling fees, or other expenses arising from an unauthorized return.
Packages sent cash on delivery, freight collect, or with unpaid customs or carrier charges may be refused.
7. Return Shipping and Tracking
Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping on non-defective and change-of-mind returns.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining the shipping receipt until the return and refund process has been completed.
CrossMira is not responsible for returned parcels that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, seized, abandoned, or otherwise not delivered to the authorized return address.
The customer remains responsible for the return parcel until it is recorded as delivered to the return address provided by CrossMira.
8. Return Inspection
All returned products are inspected after delivery to our designated return facility.
The inspection may verify:
- The identity of the returned product.
- The product’s physical condition.
- Whether the product has been worn or used.
- Whether all packaging, accessories, tags, and protective materials are present.
- Whether the claimed defect or issue can be confirmed.
- Whether the returned item matches the item originally shipped.
CrossMira may photograph or otherwise document returned products during inspection for customer service, fraud prevention, payment dispute, and recordkeeping purposes.
Refunds are not issued merely because a customer provides a return tracking number. The parcel must be received, opened, verified, and inspected before a refund decision is made.
9. Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee may be deducted from refunds for voluntary, non-defective returns to cover reasonable inspection, handling, repackaging, and inventory-processing costs, where permitted by applicable law.
The restocking fee does not apply to a verified incorrect, damaged, or defective item for which CrossMira is responsible.
CrossMira may waive the restocking fee at its discretion. A waiver in one case does not require CrossMira to waive the fee in another case.
10. Refund Calculations
Once an authorized return has been received and inspected, CrossMira will notify you whether the refund has been approved, partially approved, or rejected.
If approved, the refund will be calculated based on the amount paid for the eligible returned item, less any applicable deductions permitted by law.
Possible deductions include:
Original Shipping Costs
Shipping charges paid on the original order are non-refundable unless the return is caused by a verified CrossMira error or where otherwise required by law.
If the order qualified for free or discounted shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost paid by CrossMira may be deducted from the refund for a non-defective return, where permitted by law.
Return Shipping Costs
If CrossMira provides or pays for a return label for a non-defective return, the cost of that label may be deducted from the refund.
Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee may be deducted from eligible voluntary, non-defective returns as described in this policy.
Payment Processing and Transaction Fees
Payment processing, transaction, currency conversion, chargeback, or other financial service fees that are retained by PayPal, Stripe, card networks, banks, or other payment providers may be deducted from the refund where those amounts are not returned to CrossMira and where deduction is permitted by applicable law and payment provider rules.
Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Charges
Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, handling charges, and other government or carrier fees paid by the customer are not collected or controlled by CrossMira and cannot normally be refunded by CrossMira.
You may need to contact your local customs or tax authority to determine whether any duties or taxes can be reclaimed.
Missing or Damaged Components
If a returned product is missing packaging, accessories, tags, gifts, promotional items, or other components, or is returned in a condition that reduces its value, CrossMira may reject the return or make a reasonable deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Promotional Gifts and Bundle Discounts
Any free gift or promotional item supplied with the returned product must also be returned in its original condition. If it is not returned, its stated or reasonable retail value may be deducted from the refund.
If returning part of a bundle causes the remaining products to no longer qualify for a bundle or quantity discount, the refund may be recalculated based on the regular price of the products retained.
11. Refund Method and Processing Time
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
CrossMira cannot normally issue a refund to a different card, bank account, PayPal account, or payment method.
After CrossMira processes an approved refund, the time required for the funds to appear depends on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, currency, and country. These external processing times are outside CrossMira’s control.
Currency exchange rate changes, foreign transaction fees, and conversion charges imposed by banks or payment providers are not controlled or reimbursed by CrossMira.
12. Non-Returnable Items
The following products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, except where the product is confirmed to be defective, incorrect, or where return rights are required by applicable law:
- Pierced earrings that have been worn, tried on, or removed from sealed hygiene packaging.
- Customized, engraved, personalized, made-to-order, or specially modified products.
- Products marked as Final Sale, Clearance, or Non-Returnable before purchase.
- Gift cards, digital products, and downloadable products.
- Products damaged through misuse, improper care, accident, alteration, or normal wear.
- Products returned without all required components or in a condition unsuitable for resale.
13. Refused, Unclaimed, and Undeliverable Orders
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and for cooperating with the carrier and customs authorities when necessary.
If an order is refused, unclaimed, returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, or becomes undeliverable because the customer fails to cooperate with the carrier or customs authorities, any refund will be considered only after the parcel has been returned to and inspected by CrossMira.
The following amounts may be deducted from an eligible refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law:
- The actual outbound shipping cost.
- Return shipping charges.
- Carrier handling charges.
- Customs duties and import charges.
- Storage, disposal, redirection, and administrative charges.
- Other costs directly caused by the refusal, incorrect address, failure to collect, or failure to complete customs procedures.
If the parcel is abandoned, destroyed, seized, disposed of, or cannot be returned to CrossMira because of the customer’s refusal, failure to collect, incorrect address, or failure to complete required customs procedures, the order may not be eligible for a refund.
14. Lost or Stolen Parcels
If tracking shows that an order has not been delivered, please contact CrossMira so that we can review the shipment and, where appropriate, open an investigation with the carrier.
If carrier tracking confirms delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout, CrossMira may require additional information before considering a claim, including confirmation from household members, neighbors, building management, reception staff, the carrier, or local authorities.
CrossMira is not responsible for theft or loss occurring after confirmed delivery, except where required by applicable law. However, we will review reasonable evidence and assist with a carrier investigation where possible.
15. Exchanges
Exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to product availability, return eligibility, and inspection.
CrossMira may require the original item to be returned and inspected before an exchange item is sent.
For faster service, CrossMira may ask you to return the eligible product for a refund and place a new order for the preferred item.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs and any price difference associated with a non-defective exchange.
16. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, contact [email protected] as soon as possible.
Cancellation requests are not guaranteed. Once an order has entered processing, packaging, production, or shipment, it may no longer be possible to cancel it.
If an order cannot be canceled, the customer may request a return after delivery in accordance with this policy.
Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products may not be canceled after production has started.
17. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you experience a problem with an order, please contact CrossMira before filing a payment dispute or chargeback. We will review legitimate concerns fairly and attempt to resolve them in accordance with this policy.
Submitting a chargeback does not automatically create a right to keep both the product and the payment.
CrossMira reserves the right to contest fraudulent, abusive, inaccurate, or unsupported disputes using available evidence, including:
- Order and payment records.
- The customer’s acceptance of store policies.
- IP, device, billing, and shipping information.
- Carrier tracking and delivery confirmation.
- Signature confirmation where applicable.
- Customer service communications.
- Product, packing, and return inspection photographs.
- Return tracking and inspection records.
- Other relevant evidence permitted by law and payment provider rules.
If a payment dispute is filed while a return or refund request is being reviewed, CrossMira may pause the internal refund process until the payment provider or card issuer resolves the dispute.
CrossMira may refuse future orders from customers associated with fraudulent transactions, abusive returns, repeated false claims, threatening conduct, or misuse of payment dispute procedures, where permitted by law.
18. Return and Refund Abuse
CrossMira reserves the right to investigate suspected return or refund abuse.
Examples include:
- Requesting a refund while refusing to return the product.
- Returning a different, substituted, counterfeit, incomplete, or previously owned item.
- Wearing or using a product and then representing it as unused.
- Creating intentional damage after delivery.
- Making repeated claims involving missing, damaged, or incorrect items without reasonable evidence.
- Using multiple identities, accounts, addresses, or payment methods to avoid return restrictions.
- Providing false information to CrossMira, a carrier, payment provider, bank, or card issuer.
Where abuse or fraud is reasonably suspected, CrossMira may reject the return or refund, preserve relevant evidence, restrict future purchases, and submit information to payment providers, carriers, insurers, fraud-prevention services, or appropriate authorities where permitted by law.
19. Policy Exceptions and Applicable Law
CrossMira may make reasonable exceptions to this policy at its discretion. An exception made for one customer or order does not create an obligation to make the same exception in another case.
If the laws applicable to your purchase provide mandatory consumer rights that conflict with any part of this policy, those mandatory rights will apply only to the extent required by law. All remaining provisions of this policy will continue to apply.
